The Spring Drop is Live!

My goal for the beginning of 2026 was to get that pile of flannel down in my studio all cut, sewn up, and listed. And I did it! After school today I did a photoshoot of the XL Wheat Bag options and then got them all listed tonight. Sure feels good when a big project is done. 

With all the bags made and listed, there are NINETY different options - lots of the fabrics are the same, but across 5 different sizes. Here they all are - thanks for coming to look!! 

The littlest ones first - these are the Owie Freezer Bags, which are a quarter of the size as the Original and perfect for little ones:


And these are the Kid Sized Bags - they are half as long as the Original and great for tucking into bed with a little one:


Here are all the Original Wheat Bags, which are still my favourite and pretty much perfect:


And the XLong, which are one and a half times as long as the Original:


And finally the XL, which are twice as wide as the Original:

Just a note - these photos are just of the covers, not of the finished product. I aim to have all the cover options sewn up and to have a handful of the insides made for each size so that when an order comes in, I can assemble it and pack it up to ship right away. Then the next step in my process is to sew up another cover in that pattern if I have another one, and fill another bag for the stash. Thanks for stopping by to see what's all in the shop! New Spring Plaids

Historically, I have been bad at buying lots of new fabrics, taking a photo and saying "Hey, let me make you something out of these - what do you want?" Or leaving a note on my listings saying, "Ask what else I have available! and having to send to-the-minute photos everytime someone actually asks! My new goal is to yes, keep buyin lots of fabric whenever I find a good sale or fresh new options, but I'm trying to keep them secret until they are listed. (Don't hold me to that; I may post a teaser here...) On that note, here are my new spring plaids! All sewn up, listed, and ready to go! I picked my three favourite combos from what they had, and got enough for one XL Bag, one XLong Bag, two Original Size Bags, and one Kid Size Bag. The Origin Story

Wheat Bags are the anchor product of Alice&Victor. When I first made wheat bags, it was for Christmas one year. Some friends had just got married and as centerpieces had jars of wheat with a candle nestled on top; I convinced them to let me have the wheat and then spent a long time picking out dried wax from the lot! That Christmas, everyone in my family got one. And then I started dating my now husband, and his family lived on a farm - with a seed cleaning plant - so I had access to more wheat, and I kept on making them. Every teacher, coach, and piano teacher got the same gift. It was my 'decide once' gift.  Fast forward a few years, I had married that guy, had a kid, and was now in a stay at home mom season. So I opened an Etsy shop! I did craft sales, made a bunch of different products - whatever I wanted to make for myself and was interested in, I ended up mass producing to sell.
