Bags for Bean Bag Toss

Cornhole Bags are my most popular product through the spring and summer,
but these smaller ones actually came first.

Originally, I made some bean bags with leftover flannelette and listed them in the shop
as a set of three - there are so many uses for toy bean bags!

From that listing, I had someone request a set of eight - four of one colour and four of another to use with a toss game. I figured if they were throwing them, I should see if I could find a sturdier fabric. So I found a heavy cotton twill, made them a set of red and blue bags - and took photos and listed those, too, in case any one else wanted a set.

Then from that listing, I had someone ask if I could make a 'regulation size' set. What? So I did a little research and that's when I first heard of Cornhole. Regulation bags are 6x6 inches, double stitched, and weigh between 14 and 16 oz. Sure, I can do that.

Hundreds of regulation sets later, I still sell the odd smaller sized set and still have an assortment of toy bean bags for sale - but I'm sure glad that product development happened the way it did!

This is one of two sets getting picked up this week; I thought I'd take some pictures and share them with you before they go. If you need a set for yourself, you can find them here
